Job Purpose

Primary responsibilities include closing out inventory cycle counts and cycle count adjustments along with assisting with investigations.

Key Job Elements

•Closing of inventory cycle counts.

•Read and understand technical drawings to identify parts and product for inventory identification.

•Perform counts as needed to verify parts in location.

•Communicate effectively with team members, team leaders and management team to resolve any departmental issues.

•Assists in other areas and duties as assigned by manager.

•System data entry/spreadsheet verification and analysis.

•SAP system use.

•CI card support/standard work/5S audit.

•Follow all process documentation and standard work set in place for the inventory department.

•Provide necessary support for daily metrics reporting.

•Prioritize needed resources to support area metric targets

Education / Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications and Experience

•Must have previous forklift operation experience.

•Must have a positive attitude and customer service skills.

•Good knowledge of PC for data entry.

•Must be able to work overtime/ off shift as needed.

•Microsoft Office intermediate level skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

•Minimum 3 months SAP system experience.

•Strong interpersonal/communication/prioritization skills.

•Ability to work independently.

•Ability to prioritize work based on external and internal requirements.

•Demonstrated adherence to the Caterpillar code of conduct.

•Inventory/IRA experience highly desired.

•Good attendance history.
