Job Purpose

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to managing all departmental personnel supporting DC Aftermarket customer order fulfillment. Working directly with other departmental leadership to ensure all customer orders meet pick/pack/kitting requirements on time per the plan.

Key Job Elements

•Monitor/Improve departmental safety through RCCA/DMAIC investigation

•Determine and manage customer priorities and adjust section staffing to meet customer requirements as needed

•Drive escalation of at risk customer orders and resolve issues as needed

•Determine overtime needs and prioritize resources to support customer needs

•Drive accountability within department through process documentation and training matrix management

•Suggest changes in equipment and drive process efficiencies

•Evaluate, assess and identify training needs of work force

•Conduct process improvement dialogs to drive continuous improvement within Pick/Pack/Kitting value stream

•Communicate with other DC leadership to drive appropriate customer pick/pack/kitting priorities

•Escalate to necessary support leadership within Transportation, Customer Service and Planning

Education / Training

•High School Diploma or equivalent

•Minimum 3 years manufacturing/logistics experience

•Minimum 2 years leadership experience within a Manufacturing/Warehouse environment

•4 year degree desired

Qualifications and Experience

•Intermediate level skills of Microsoft Office(Excel/Word/Powerpoint)

•Ability to comfortably present to team members and other area Leaders

•Good working knowledge of labor rules and regulations

•Strong interpersonal/organizational/ communication/prioritization skills a must

•Strong ERP system knowledge

•Warehouse shop floor environment w/ 30% shop floor time required.

•Infrequent need to physically move material.

•Must be able to team lift up to 55 lbs

•Must be able to push and pull up to 125 lbs.

•Direct report structure - 1-3 team leads, 10-25 distribution employees
